Introduction to childcare We are a mother and daughter team running a family day care. A little about the Mother, Aleta Taylor: I am a mother of 3, and a grandmother of 9, so I have been caring for children for quite some time. I have a certificate in early childhood education and I am continuously reading and attending workshops to expand my knowledge. I love working with children, teaching them and watching them grow. A little about the daughter, Monica Anderson: I am a mother of a teenage son and have been working with children in pre-school and private home settings for over 12 years. I have an AA in Early Childhood Education and I’m continuously attending workshops to expand my knowledge. My love of children and my enjoyment of caring for them, as well as my education and work experience, are expressed in the quality of care that I give to the children at our family day care. I am dedicated to creating an environment where your children feel safe cared for and where my home feels like being with family. Anderson Family Day Care is licensed under the state of California Department of Social Services to provide day care for up to 12 children. For this purpose, “child care” means non-medical care for children who are in need of personal services, supervision, age appropriate activities and education. Licensing# 197411341
